Seafood Paradise - Singapore

One of the famous Singaporean dishes is the Chilli Crab. Our last run in Singapore was so short that we missed this awesome dish. This time, we almost missed it too. Almost. Our awesome Singaporean friend suggested that one of the chain of restaurants that do the best Chilli Crab has a branch at the Airport (T2). He also mentioned that this place not only does awesome chilli crab, it does a uniquely amazing creamy butter crab.

Given his suggestions, we ate at Seafood Paradise and asked the waitress if it was possible for two people to finish two crabs. She said that it was do-able. Hence, a wonderfully saucy chilli crab and an amazing creamy butter crab arrived at our table.

The chilli crab came drenched in a thick chilli sauce with egg bits floating throughout. The crab was sweet and fresh. My partner loved it. I preferred my creamy butter crab. This was simply AMAZING! Smooth, creamy, buttery with a hint of chilli and pepper. It was sooo good you simply had to lap up the sauce with the small little super soft deep fried bun.

This has seriously got to be one of the best crab meals we've had. Having a whole crab each, however, left us a little crabbed out. I don't think we need to eat crab again in a while :)
