Cafe Greco - Southbank

Greco - a popular cake hangout in Crown Casino. We went reasonably late in the night (half an hour before closing time) and found all of the staff trying to ignore our existence. When a table came up free, staff upon staff upon staff skirted around, infront, behind and beside us - but none looked us in the eye. They all tried to pretend they didn't see us. Haiiiiii >.<

When we were finally seated at a table, the table was dirty. The staff gave us a super super dirty look when we told them to wipe the table. STRIKE TWO.

We settled and ordered a Black Forest, a Mango Passionfruit Cheesecake, and a Mars Bar Cheesecake (all $10.50 a slice). The Mars Bar cheesecake was the best tasting of the three. Sweet (yet good for that time of the night) and mars bar tasting, with caramel oozing out and choc drops. The mango-passionfruit cheesecake was more lite and fluffy in comparison. The blackforest was not my type of cake. Then again, I never really liked cherry or sponge cake...

What disturbed me the most was the cockroach which ran wild across the floor. I HATE insects and am paranoid of cockroaches climbing up my legs. And plus, having cockroaches in an eatery is unacceptable and absolutely abominable!!! STRIKE THREE.

After seeing the cockroach, my company and I wanted to make a dash for it. A shame really - the Mars Bar cheesecake was quite good.
